The CMAA Young Professionals group is defined at the national level as “the group of Professional and Alumnus members aged 40 and under. A vibrant community designed to enhance the benefits of CMAA membership by engaging, developing, and empowering the emerging leaders of the Private Club industry through targeted educational, networking and professional development opportunities.”
The South Region has a vast group of Young Professionals working in clubs that are 40 (or close to it) and under. We are inviting all Young Professionals in clubs, especially non-CMAA members who may have been reluctant to join the association, to join us for a cold one at 8th Wonder Brewery. There will be a brief discussion on the TCYP initiative locally and the success similar CMAA chapters are having around the country with this programming. You will network with the up-and-comers in our region, old coworkers, and possibly even old college classmates.
General Managers/COOs and Executive leaders, make sure your Young Professionals are given the opportunity to attend!
The goals of TCYP are: Recruitment, Retention, and Reengagement. TCYP aims to bring in more talented Young Professionals to our region and industry, keep these young managers and new college graduates engaged in the association, and to build back the excitement for young managers who may be starting to feel burned out or may be losing interest in private clubs or the association.
Don’t miss it, and don’t let the young professionals at YOUR club miss out on this opportunity.
